C.A.N.V.A.S. is releasing compilation Apocope on February 12, with preview track ‘Elvin Brandhi – FRIDGE! Ez_virus’ premiering today via AQNB. The London-based label’s latest record brings together past affiliates like Brandhi and Lugh with Billy Bultheel, Bashar Suleiman, and Alpha Maid.

The release is the second project from the London-based label, following Cipher in 2019 which focused on codification. Meanwhile, Apocope engages the pop milieu with an unrelenting track from Elvin Brandhi that embraces an unsuspecting extremity. Vrooming kicks and mangled, synthetic squeals drive the artist’s production on ‘FRIDGE! Ez_virus’, exacerbating anticipated vocal styles into an indiscernible and overwhelmingly visceral score. It’s a moment in the compilation that witnesses pop’s otherwise unlikely messy ending.**

Apocope is released by C.A.N.V.A.S. on February 12, 2021.
