Hyph11E is releasing album Aperture via SVBKVLT on October 16, with preview track ‘Infiltration’ premiering on AQNB today. The Shanghai-based artist expands her approach to the industrial post-club of 2019 EP Slip B with Slikback, and 2017 album Vanishing Cinema, mainly embracing jungle and caustic drone in pursuit of subverting self-image.

At the start of ‘Infiltration’, granular synths puncture the kick pattern, carving brief moments for drum breaks before shifting rapidly uptempo. The backing ambience growls over fractured drum n bass, evoking the ominous rhythmic interplay of Dillinja’s 1997 track ‘Silver Blade’. The beat catapults into overdrive, barreling towards total climax before warping suddenly into distorted atmospheres. Synthetic rifts tear apart in the aftermath of its going haywire.**
