Nahash is releasing LP Flowers of the Revolution on Shanghai’s SVBKVLT on June 12, with preview track ‘A Secret Christian Influence (Gabber Modus Operandi remix)’ premiering today on AQNB. The Montreal-based producer’s catalog contains music across quite a few different genres and aliases. However, this album feels most informed by the artist’s collaborations with Osheyack, a club-friendly track and mix both defined by their hyperbolic post-rave styles. Gabber Modus Operandi exacerbates that same ethos on the remix track.

‘A Secret Christian Influence’ begins with a flurry of chopped percussive timbres. Sounds of a string quartet ascend arresting gabber kick drums, before transforming into sampled melodies that cycle mechanically over the growing rhythmic haywire. The sonic barrage eventually reaches its climax and stops instantaneously, leaving an ominous horn solo to trail briefly in its aftermath.**

Nahash’ Flowers of the Revolution is out via SVBKVLT on June 12.
