Fauness is releasing EP White River Remixes on March 6, with preview track ‘Escha & Ytem Creuseur Liberation Remix’ premiering on AQNB today. The London-based producer dropped another EP Lashes In A Landfill in November last year, where the titular fairy rock first appeared.
This remix embraces the non sequitur without hesitation. The track catapults into dramatic string riffs and wailing vocal chops. Radio voiceover callouts of each artists’ alias sound off amidst cliché orchestral arrangements, effectively evoking Chino Amobi’s 2017 album Paradiso, except it feels like it’s being used to score the Disney movie Frozen. A celebration of camaraderie is central to the frenzied sonic chaos of the artists’ remix.**
