nevrland are releasing the video for ‘Blood Moon’, premiering today via AQNB on June 25, 2021. The collaborative project between ssaliva and munix presents their first collaboration with London’s Fauness, an ode to the night and the moon’s benevolent powers.
Drawn by Tristan Gac and animated by Amal Guichard, the lyric video for ‘Blood Moon’ takes place across a landscape that hosts a hybrid of earthly and celestial features. Candy-colored skies peel away into new biomes, all seemingly influenced by the moon, which glistens prominently in the center throughout the whole video. Fauness’s croons rise over the baroque-inspired composition, evoking a sense of familiarity throughout the otherworldly scenes. She goes, “My mama told me that the moon is my friend.”**
