Haunted stillness, memory, death & the supernatural in a 19th century rural farmhouse for the Metal Meadow group exhibition

The Metal Meadow group exhibition was on at Cobleskill, NY’s Camp Eternal Hell Chamber, running May 4 and June 30.

Featuring Chelsea Culprit, Zack Davis, Debo Eilers, Brian Kokoska, Larissa Lockshin, Bunny Rogers, Chloe Seibert, Tarwuk, Hadley Vogel and Quay Quinn Wolf, the show was set in a mid-19th century rural farmhouse. It evokes spectres of haunted house iconography and an American pastoral gothic familiar from pop culture and scary movies. The works presented “thematically engage with stillness, terror, memory and death, and the possibilities of emotional emergence facilitated by non-human objects and images.”**

The Metal Meadow group exhibition was on at Cobleskill’s Camp Eternal Hell Chamber, running May 4 to June 30, 2019.
