The hype & expectation is not around mp3s or DMPs anymore, maybe tablets, maybe e-readers but the media player market hasn’t been completely cannibalized by the phones yet. And proof of that is the Galaxy Player released next year. Cowon (also South Korean) thinks the same way and here’s their plenue…

Using also Android the D3 Plenue seems to host a 3.7-inch, 800 x 480 AMOLED screen. A HDMI output port, WiFi, a T-DMB tuner, Bluetooth, an accelerometer, MicroSD slot, Radio and true HD playback (1080p)…. all we expected…. 3 years ago?

In any case we’re once again in love with the Korean UX & gadget design (remember iRiver’s new line-up?), but we’re again pretty sure this will only be released in the eastern Asiatic markets (SK and maybe maybe Japan too). So we can continue dribbling… more info on their website.
