The Weird Rain group exhibition at Los Angeles’ Garden L.A. opens May 6 and is running to July 6.
The show features work by Brody Albert, laub and Jennifer Moon, Spencer Longo, Sarah Manuwal and Rob Reynolds who explore “speculative modes of ecological coexistence.”
Using wall-embedded snails, glass-blown enema bags, hanging loofahs, houseplants and paintings to name a few materials, the multimedia installation looks at the ways in which we are (dis)connected with our environment and complicates the concept of ‘Nature as other.’
