Dasychira is releasing album xDream via New York’s Unseelie and Blueberry Records on October 31, with a music video for ‘Let’s Share Your Memory Together’ premiering on AQNB today. The New York-based producer has been quite prolific in the past couple of years, releasing two EPs and a single since 2017, while collaborating with a number of artists, including Embaci and Yikii.
South African Dasychira takes that spirit of community on to their debut LP, where the aforementioned artists contribute once again, along with producer Malibu, violinist Vivek Menon and Baby Blue, who features on ‘Let’s Share Your Memory Together’. Here, the Vancouver-based producer and DJ provides her signature trance inflections to the short track, where Dasychira then adds a cute and twinkly touch, for which they’ve become increasingly known. The video is directed by Dante Capone, where spritely CGI characters flash in, out and across a mostly black frame, mimicking the spritely frolic of the track’s delicate sound.**
