Playful imaginings in a cardboard box interior world for moving & shipping with the PRODUCT PLACEMENT group show

The PRODUCT PLACEMENT group exhibition was on at Prague’s Academy of Fine Arts, running May 30 to June 2.

Featuring Adam Rada, Adina Šulcová, Adrian Altman, David Čerťanský, Markéta Soukupová & Jan Soumar among others, the show was set inside a space covered in cardboard box material. It also included work by Jakub Hošek, Josef Bolf, Nikol Lourková and Nik Timková, and took its poetic departure point as imaginings from inside this ubiquitous packaging for moving and shipping.

The press text playfully reads:

“What’s inside the box could be a different world. To the extent the box keeps the outside world away — yes, it is better to think inside the box.”**

The PRODUCT PLACEMENT group exhibition was on at Prague’s Academy of Fine Arts, running May 30 to June 2, 2019.
