Sückie (aka Sky Parnes) is releasing EP Irala via Buenos Aires’ Agva Records on September 5, with preview track ‘Irala Pt.1’ premiering on AQNB today. The New York-based Argentinian-American producer, sound engineer and DJ is a founding member of the label, which also released YOTO’s QLEA album last year.

The record comprises four original tracks and three remixes by a number of other emerging South American producers, including Syntrovert, Jaiju and Emelka. They each work with Parnes’ signature sound, where breakbeats and bass lines are deconstructed and reassembled into rhythmic hard dance hybrids. ‘Irala Pt. 1’, meanwhile, is a titillatingly spatial swagger through easy polyrhythms that glide over a melodic whistling and atmospheric choral patches.**

Sückie’s Irala EP is out via Buenos Aires’ Agva Records on September 5, 2019.
