Clementine Edwards and Alexander Iezzi‘s Femke Hears a Who joint exhibition was on at Rotterdam’s Peach, running May 11 to June 9.
The show takes viewers into the camp and surreal everyday of a character named Femke. An installation environment and video piece by the duo follows a day in the life of the protagonist, where street scenes of Rotterdam meld into a bizarre domestic dreamscape of plush toys, a children’s tea set and musical instruments. It’s all set to a skewed harpsichord and gabber soundtrack.**
