The DARK CORE SCALE compilation is out via Prague’s UNIZONE on February 1, with a preview of Bungalovv (aka Pablo Betas)’s ‘La Fuerza De Los Ausentes’ premiering on AQNB today. The Buenos Aires-based producer has released with Infinite Machine and Trrueno in the past, while the Czech collaborative platform has been putting on parties and running a radio show for experimental and heavy dance music since 2017.
DARK CORE SCALE will be UNIZONE’s net label arm’s first compilation, with contributions from fifteen like-minded producers and past club night guests — including wac, Kid Cala, Shayu, SBSTRD and more — responding to its titular shadowy theme. Bungalovv’s ‘La Fuerza De Los Ausentes’ track, which translates to the ‘The Force of the Missing’, floats listlessly through a tactile polyrhythmic milieu where shimmers of wobbly, delayed synths and clacking elemental percussive fragments knock the mind in and out of consciousness.**
