The Tjigger FJUN group exhibition at Ostend’s Panicz opened July 8 and is running to August 31.
Taking place at the Stephanie Snoeck-run bar, located along the Belgian coast and named after the wordy for ‘dandy’ in Polish, the group show features contributions by over 30 artists, including Buenos Tiempos, Int., Alberto Garcia del Castillo, Girls Like Us, Lulou Margarine, Puppies Puppies, Bruno Zhu, Celine Gilain and Reece York, among others.
The event is organised by Harald Thys, Margot Vanheusden and Filip Gilissen, and brings together a range of works across mediums, including toilet installations, ‘avant-garde’ flower collages and food platters, as well as live performances by Castillo and Merman among others, as well as DJ sets by Marnie Slater and Gilissen’s own NuJazzMarathon on the opening night.**
