Monia Ben Hamouda is presenting solo exhibition Miranda at Milan’s PANE projects, opening March 14 and running to March 21.
Hamouda, who works between Milan, Helsinki and Tunisi, will show new work at Antonio Miranda butcher shop. Including a dedicated gift by Nicole Colombo, there will also be an accompanying text by Liege’s Diesel Project Space curator and co-founder Noëmi Merca, who moves between experiences of sensation and dead matter:
“Love. I remember this feeling; to love and to be loved. Also, the one who drives us to transcend ourselves through desire. Sweet passion: intense and pure, floating in an air balloon filled with a transparent liquid. Then, everything suddenly vanishes.”
This will be PANE’s third project in the their home city, Milan and marks their first solo exhibition.
See the FB event page for details.**
