An exhibition of Cally Spooner‘s And You Were Wonderful, On Stage performance is on at Amsterdam’s Stedelijk Museum, opening January 15 and running to April 17.

The immersive five-channel installation is curated by Britte Sloothaak and draws on a body of work by the London-based artist that consists of media installations, essays, novels and live performances including radio broadcasts, plays and a musical.

It draws on documentation of the “peripatetic musical” that has appeared in various incarnations in physical space over the past two years and precedes one of Spooner’s more recent project-performances On False Tears and Outsourcing at Middelburg’s Vleeshal Zusterstraat.

See the Stedelijk website for details.**
