Cell Project Space‘s new group show, m-Health, opens this weekend with various events taking place across Saturday and Sunday.
m-Health, which is introduced as a “site for rejuvenation and spa rituals and a place for leisure and contemplation”, takes on social health and well-being, exploring how they relate to one’s surroundings, constructed or natural.
Inviting seven artists to “activate” the space—including Rachel Reupke, Hannah Lees, and Daniel Keller who recently closed Kai ♥ Dalston Bushwick at Kraupa-Tuskany-Zeidler—m-Health provides an alternative to what it calls “the spectacle of exhibition space”, creating instead a spa through sonic, video, sculptural, and performance contributions. After its opening this weekend, the exhibition will continue for another run from July 30 to August 2.
