Portland’s Upfor Gallery is celebrating it’s first birthday with a three week screening of work by LA-based artist Ryan Trecartin, opening on September 4 and running to October 27.
Featuring his four films premiered at the 2013 Venice Biennale, including ‘Comma Boat’, ‘CENTER JENNY‘, ‘Item Falls’ and ‘Junior War’, the Anniversary screenings will run at varying times, in that order, with only ‘Comma Boat’ going for the duration of the exhibition. So best check up on the (approximate) playing times on the gallery website.

It is only through the dedication and generosity of everyone involved that AQNB manages to continue. More than ever we need to build a resilient space for independent media, one that works in collaboration with its artists, administrators, and audiences. Not everyone can afford to give donations we know - but if you can spare $1 a month, you like what AQNB is about and want to secure this space for the future, then please lend a hand and sign up. Thank u so much! <3
