The second event in Futurecamp‘s future exploration series, titled Private vs. Public: Activism, Economics and Politics Today, will take place at the Wysing Arts Center on June 28.

Exploring the relationship between economy and politics through a series of talks and panel discussions, the full-day event features a host of contributors, including Rammy El (producer of Al Jazeera), Ray Filar (journalist), as well as artist Yuri Pattison and Josh Harris, among others.

This comes as the second event in Futurecamp’s 10-week residency series, the first of which was titled The Way We Act Now: Psychology and Behaviour in the Digital Age and took place on June 14.

The series is comprised of five events altogether, and Private vs. Public will be followed by The Way We Live Now: Environmental and Social Consequnces on July 12, Alternative Methods: Art and Education on July 26, and A Post-Gender World on August 9.
