Terra [Alterities], a group exhibition presented by Supercollider and featuring K Allado-McDowell, Benjamin Bratton, Alice Bucknell, Paige Emery among others, was on at Biosphere 2, Oracle, Arizona, running May 6 to 8.

Set at the world’s largest closed ecological system, built in the late ’80s to investigate off-world living, the exhibition — which also features Xin Liu, Laure Michelon, Sahej Rahal, and Yasaman Sheri — explores notions of the human in our ecological crisis-ridden present, among techno-fix imaginaries and Buckminster Fuller-inspired geodesic domes. As noted in the exhibition text: “What types of languages might emerge from the growing consciousness of a global catastrophe of our own making?”**
