Agazero is releasing EP Re:set Múon Particle via s.M.i.L.e. on August 2, with preview track ‘Air’ premiering on AQNB today. Formerly known as Vó1d, the Rio de Janeiro-based artist’s new project draws inspiration from the Higgs boson particle in pursuit of bridging disparate music genres into a singular form.
‘Air’ starts off a tender atmosphere, ethereal guitar melodies wavering seamlessly before Agazero and JLZ’s production unfolds in the space spared between each stroke. Lisa Lotion’s vocals slowly bubble forward, revealing a longing for closeness and friendship under subdued beats. ‘When you say I have to go, all I really want is you to stay,’ go the lyrics as the rhythm lifts off, leaving the same entrancing guitar that swayed into this dreamy song.**
