Mapping a neo-baroque fantasy space with the ornate installation & sculptures of Anastasia Sosunova

, 12 July 2021

Diluvial Valleys, a solo exhibition by Anastasia Sosunova, curated by Vaida Stepanovaite, was on at Vilnius’ Swallow, running April 16 to May 22.

With mixed-media installation, video, sculpture and illustration, the show creates a neo-baroque fantasy space of engaging fictions. As commented in the exhibition text: “These objects are today’s artifacts, freezing the flows of information, reminiscing personal and collective stories, joys, and pains.”**
