‘Ravenfield’ captures entropic qualities of nature as the video cycles between a breadth of pastoral videos and landscape paintings. Gauzy strings and synths overwhelm Helica’s reverberated lyrics. In the final minute, the painted canvases abstract over the pulsing score, challenging human perception of the serene before returning to breathtaking gazes of an open sky.
