Croatian Amor (aka Loke Rabhek) is releasing album All In The Same Breath via Posh Isolation on June 19, with preview track ‘The River That Flows In You Also Flows In Me’ premiering on AQNB today. On this project, Rahbek retreats from the hollowed-out synthetic atmospheres on 2019s Isa, instead fashioning a sonic that sways between granular instrumentation and placating club constructions.
This track starts with a singular sine wave. Frederik Valentin’s piano riffs cascade over choir samples as the track unfolds into a panorama of crooning electroacoustics. Instrumental ambiences bout in slow-burn motions, embracing both sentimental tenderness and any unfamiliar tenors. The press release ends on a quote from Persian poet Hafez that captures these cycling dispositions:
I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being.**
