Montagne de lumière, a solo exhibition by Eric Giraudet de Boudemange, was on view at Lily Robert, Paris, running November 28 to January 19.
With mixed-media installation, sculptures and an experimental RPG style video game, the show blends new age eroticism and pastoral myths, drawing from the cultural imaginary of the Alps de Haute-Provence in France. As the press release notes: “In his ludic mise-en-scène, every techno-scientific tyranny or harsh globalization side-effect seem to be forestalled and relieved by the return to ancestral cults, local wisdom, grotesque experiments and arcane, folkloristic practices”.**
