Flowers, chance encounters & the art world’s frayed edges in Noccito’s offsite exhibition for the Cosmopolitanissimo series

Noccito‘s Conceptissimo In The City offsite exhibition was on in Brussels, running April 22 to August 15.

The show continues a multifaceted series called Cosmopolitanissimo, which has included projects in unusual spaces, such as a nightclub and a Thalys train between the Belgian capital and Paris. Previous iterations of the project has featured contributions from the likes of Fatima Al-QadiriSydney Shen, Marie Karlberg, Cédric Fargues and Amalia Ulman, as well as Kareem Lotfy, Dese Escobar, Bonny Poon, Quintessa Matranga and Steven Warwick, among others. For Conceptissimo In The City, an amateur artist working under the pseudonym Noccito presents flower interventions in uptown Brussels between Easter Monday and Assumption Day. 

Previously the exhibition series has featured contributions from the likes of Fatima Al-QadiriAmalia UlmanSydney Shen, Marie Karlberg, Cédric Fargues, Jared Madere, Kareem Lotfy, Dese Escobar, Steven Warwick, Bonny Poon, Miguel Bendana, Quintessa Matranga among others.

For Conceptissimo In The City, an amateur artist working under the Noccito alias presents flower interventions in uptown Brussels between Easter Monday and Assumption Day.  Like past shows in the series, the show frays the edges of art world authorship, cultural capital, aspiration and accessibility.**
