Angels in America released album Uptown Funk via New York’s Ormolycka Records on February 12, with an accompanying music video for track ‘Congealer’ premiering on AQNB today. The New York-based duo have released records on labels Night People and Hoss Records, while touring with the Odwalla1221 and Gobby, among others.

Directed by Jae Matthews of dark electro band Boy Harsher, the film resembles the work of Kenneth Anger with its blood red tones and surreal arrangements supporting the menacing square wave oscillations of a sort of retro industrial pop. Rachel Lewallen (aka performer RRLEW) performs with her sister in a sequence crossing a waterfront, a motorcycle, and “a vivid experience of fractured identity.”**
