Thornhill DeWitt is an artist, director, designer and blogger, as well as running record label Teenage Teardrops. For his solo show at the LA space, dystopian and eager messages sit quietly in the space like despair, aware of their own powerlessness.

Text-based works are plastered over the walls, with a massive red sign reading ‘Expect The Worse.’ On the wall opposite are words that sound and look like headlines, reading ‘Hungry – Ghost,’ ‘Wildest Dreams’ and ‘Totally Destroy’ superimposed on top of images of flames.**

Cali Thornhill Dewitt’s SAFE WORDS solo exhibition is on at Los Angeles’ Karma International, running December 6 to January 20, 2018.
