The Lausanne-based festival Les Urbaines is taking their last edition to Paris, which brings together a number of artists whose work is rooted in “one’s own experiences, identity-based, societal or transgressive approaches” to making. The festival, which has been running for twenty years, covers performance, installation, concerts and more.
Programmed by Patrick de Rham & Ysaline Rochat, the line-up includes a number of notable artists, including Raphael Defour performing Da Love Tape, Contemporary Cruising‘s performance Complete Body, a show by Laetitia Dosch Un album, Daniel Hellmann‘s performance Traumboy followed by a panel discussion with sex workers, Samira Elagoz‘s performance Cock, Cock.. Who’s There? and performance-installation The Never Ending Honeymoon by Sophie Ballmer & Tarik Hayward among many others.
