Curated by Jack Barrett and Patrick Mohundro, the show featured work by Christina Quarles, Ilana Savdie, Joshua Citarella and Michael Blake. Presenting a mix of painting, sculpture and photography, as well as a performance on the opening night, the installation looked at the boundary between where a body begins and ends.
“The realities pertaining to the body are fully distorted and suspended through the ambiguity of consumptive excess, the mutated culture of self-care and self-work, and the manufacture of impossible ideals.”**
