The BOOM CUT GUERILLA group exhibition is on at Marseille’s TANK art space, opening on August 25 and running to August 30.

Curated by Jessica Macor and Eve-Melissa Traore, the show brings together work by artists from many different countries (USA, South Africa, Portugal, Austria, France…), including Filipe Afonso, Black Audio Film Collective, Jean-Marc Chapoulie, Eve Heller, Louis Henderson, Emmanuelle Negre, Marilou Poncin, Tabita Rezaire, Michael Robinson and Soda_Jerk.

Using found footage, mash-ups, datamoshing and other re-used methods, the exhibition includes a selection of video art and experimental film, installations and documentary essays that question the materiality of the image within proliferation.
