Kevin Space will present a solo show by London-based artist and writer Caspar Heinemann, nothing is the end of the world they made, opening February 23 and running March 20.
Kevin Space is a curatorial collective currently based in Vienna and Heinemann, who has recently completed their thesis entitled: ‘Fucking Pansies: Queer Poetics, Plant Reproduction, Plant Poetics, Queer Reproduction’, is the collective’s first artist in residence.
The show, nothing is the end of the world they made will reflect on the residency and transform the space into one that deals with “unrealizable representations” and that deconstructs and re-imagines unstable notions of future, hope and alternative structures.
There will be a performance on the opening evening.
*Heinemann has also organised and will introduce Gathering Place, an evening of readings at AND/OR gallery in London on February 25, featuring Penny Goring, Mira Mattar, Nat Raha and a scent by Alex Margo Arden.*
See the FB event page for more details on their solo show.**
