The Wet Sounds underwater concert is being held at London’s Kentish Town Leisure Centre on November 29.
The event has toured 10 cities in the UK since 2008 and works with the notion that “sound travels 4.5 times faster in water than it does in air” delivering an eight channel sound, with six above water and two below.
Here the water’s surface presents as “a threshold between two different soundworlds and two entirely different listening experiences” created, performed and curated by Joel Cahen and accompanied by visuals from London-based digital art creative studio SDNA.
