“Journal for Music Politics and Poetics” CESURA//ACCESO is accepting submissions for Issue 2, with its central theme ‘Corrupting Desires! Technique, Performance and Control’ with a deadline of December 1, 2015, to publish in June next year.
The ‘DIY’ non-academic journal officially launched in June 2015 with the release of Issue 1 – produced through the help of a crowdfunding campaign and featuring the likes of Sean Bonney, Anne Boyer, Matteo Pasquinelli and Lawrence Abu Hamdan among others.
CESURA//ACCESO looks to reflect on how music is made and experienced – “revealing limits, exclusions, desires, strategies, optimism and pessimism”. Submissions are open to finished material and proposals for works in progress of all forms, including essays, interviews, reviews, poetry, visual work, extending to “expressive rage, excessive simplicity, impassive speech acts”.
