Ann Hirsch is presenting a new solo exhibition Dr. Guttman’s Office at LA’s Smart Objects, opening October 23 and running to November 27.
Following her Muffy exhibition at New York’s American Medium and a presentation of her play ‘Playground‘ (2013) in London last year, the now LA-based artist carries on her examination of a woman’s subjectivity as developed through childhood.
The press release for Dr. Guttman’s Office announces itself with a short story illustrating the fears desires and anxieties of girlhood via a drawing and a visit to the a therapist.
