Post-Internet Philosophy @ Invalidenstr. 110, Oct 19

, 19 October 2015

The Department of Philosophy at the Humboldt-University of Berlin opens a new biweekly course this month, titled Post-Internet Philosophy and starting this Monday, October 19.

Almost paradoxically, the university-associated course states its aim as the emancipation from “what our professors hold as the right way to make philosophy” and consequently “finding our own philosophical identity”.

Examining the particular philosophical practice of our generation—a generation that grew up in and on the internet—the course looks at how our digital socialization impacts the ways in which we conduct philosophy through the help of texts, videos and workshops.
