Berlin-based collective DELETHE is presenting their ‘Deletion after Death’ project at Alexander Levy, opening September 11 and running to October 17.
Established in 2012, the group includes artist Nik Nowak, lawyer Philipp Brandt and the late curator and art critic Peter Lang, joined by communication design studio VERBALVISUAL as of 2014.
The project is what it calls a “forum, a self-experiment and a service” exploring the legislation around data deletion, digital property and the estates of the deceased, while begging the question, ‘How is our immaterial information collected, or forgotten, in a material world?’
See Alexander Levy website for details.**
