Anna-Sophie Berger is bringing a new solo show called Growing Horns to New York’s Ludlow 38, where it will run from April 19 to May 24.
The exhibition is comprised of a site-specific installation and a performance by the artist, whose contribution to the MINI/Goethe-Institut Curatorial Residencies art space comes out of a training in fashion and an artist background in installation.
By way of a press, the Vienna-based artist has released a video showing her grooming a white dog, mixing what looks like shaving cream in a metal bowl, as well as an accompanying PDF that comes with a collection of photographs displaying grooming tools and the grooming process itself, and a page of text that discusses recipes and prescriptive medication.
See the exhibition page for details. **
