The X Marks the Bökship bookshop and project space is hosting I’ve never read her, a book club and literature project, at their London location on August 6.
Concentrating on short fiction and essays written by women, the club will meet every second Wednesday of the month to read and discuss, as well as to host screenings and events around the texts read.
For the the coming installment, I’ve never read her will be reading Gertrude Stein’s The Making of Americans: Being a History of Family’s Progress, an almost 1000-page modernist novel dipping in and out of meta-fictional meditations on the writing process.
