The PADDLES ON! exhibition and online auction is celebrating a final live auction event at London’s Howick Place on July 3.
This live auction, which will follows the PADDLES ON! exhibition that has been running at Howick Place in conjunction with Arcadia Missa from June 21 to July 3, as well as the concurrent online auction that has been running on the Phillips art auction site from June 18 to July 2.
Curated by Lindsay Howard and presented in collaboration with Tumblr, PADDLES ON! is working to bring together various artists using digital technologies to help establish the next generation of contemporary art. Participating artists and galleries will keep 100% of the sale profits, and a portion of the buyer’s premier will be donated to Opening Times, a new non-profit online commissioning body that has taken over the Phillips website to coincide with PADDLES ON! and presents Tempo di Martello, “bringing the site to life with animations and website interventions inspired by the fancy footwork of MC Hammer”.
