After the trailer last January, we were really awaiting for these Catalans’ new album. They’re definitely on fire, on an accelerated & euphoric inspirational trip that keeps bringing the craziest & freshest pop (rock?) from the Mediterranean coastal city to our contaminated heads.

And with the release a few weeks ago of their second (and highly explosive) album Za! are doing a world tour that’s taking them to SXSW in Texas, Fusion in Germany (later this month) or Gwen Festival in Switzerland later in June.

46 minutes of a mix & remix of styles, a bit experimental, very very fluid (reminding us at certain points of the Megapuss experiment). You have to be active to listen to this duo of 9 instruments whose free-jazzy & psychedelic rhythms keep increasing the already impressive level of sounds coming from Barcelona lately.

Definitely a Duo to follow in the coming months, and for those of you with access to Spotify… the new album is streaming here (or most of it via myspace… run! before they close it down!).
