And to start the day with a smile (even if the story behind isn’t really suitable for kids), Pierre Ducos & Bertrand Bey (talent from Supinfocom) bring us their new animated movie “La Détente”.

After a few years working in advertising the duo who gained some recognition with their “True Color” graduation film in 2008  (here below). After Buf & Nottoscale where they worked together again as codirectors they were asked to work together on ‘Yellowhouse’ back in Paris.

After moving to Canada they both started working on this new project with the support of Kawa Animation & Patrick Stemelen on a rather bitter story… “In a trench during the first world war, a French soldier becomes paralyzed with fear. His mind disconnects from reality and escapes to a world where wars are fought by toys”.

Hopefully they’ll release it on-line shortly. More stills and info on their website.
