Martin Parr is a member of the legendary Magnum agency and one of the most active and dynamic photographers at work today. Since the 1980s he has published some thirty books and shown his photographs in countless group and solo shows.

His ironic and critical view of our contemporary world have left us some iconic images of today’s decadent society: from the “luxury” of the Jet set to the “artificial” & overcrowded tourism.

“Parrworld” is not only an exhibition as it includes many objects from his private collection (the objects sought out and collected by Parr are dominated by the biggest packet of potato crisps ever sold)…. imagine.

The exhibition is organised by Haus der Kunst, Munich, in collaboration with Jeu de Paume, Paris, where it will be shown till September 27th.
