The Trading Places 2.0 group exhibition is on at London’s 12ø Collective, opening February 5 and running to February 7.
Curated by artist Joshua Parker as part of his A/W 2015 residency at the Stoke Newington space, this second in a series of Trading Places exhibitions explores the “possibilities of how emerging art practices could survive continuous austerity measures while maintaining critical reflection of the contemporary.”
The show, featuring Sophie Chapman, Aspiration Suits, Rosa Nussbaum, Chris Dendulk & Jammie Nicholas and Lily Ackroyd-Willoughby will look at ‘feasibility’ as a factor around business models, corporate strategies and/or corporate aesthetics as a necessity within an increasingly hostile projected future for art production.
