Everything is prepared for the summer hybrid release next July 23rd, Tom Scholefield (aka Konx-om-Pax) will be releasing his debut LP under Planet Mu… Regional Surrealism… his personal imaginary world which will, hopefully, get also a full-featured animated film to go with. The trailer, which he recently uploaded via the label vimeo account, is a trailer of the animation that should complete this hybrid album, but not many details on the animated part have been published.
The Glasgow 3D film director who’s worked with the likes of Warp Records, Brainfeeder or DFA (Mogwai, Kuedo and Lone, Oneohtrix Point Never..) happens to, when not occupied, make some music to chill out as a form of “creative self medication”.
A synthetic adventure that can be partially streamed via Portal Mu’s album page, hopefully the whole animated project will also be uploaded to the internet in the coming weeks…
