The acidic & multi-colored style Jonas Burgert has accustomed us to just found the perfect place to be exhibited in: Der Tagesspiegel’s old press printing building and home to the Berlin version of BlainSouthern. It seems like a perfect match for Burgert’s creatures invasion right? A 2 month takeover that starts next Saturday (April 28th we mean)…

For the occasion the German artist will unveil a series of new paintings (some monumental in scale… oh yes!) alongside sculptural works.
His parallel & flashy universes will once again place the viewer in front of fantastical creatures, colorful patterns and chaotic situations to which religion tends to be a common denominator. Sacred cows, birds of prey, industrial architecture and lonely human beings that compose these beautiful storms which seem to be taken out of an apocalyptic circus aftermath.
