The question is not how many aliases, nicknames and pseudos Mr Price has used to give room to his wild electro creativity… or the number of stars that have asked for his music production skills, but more like who hasn’t he worked with (or remixed) that hasn’t become a real hit afterwards.
I remember discovering “Darkdancer” back when I was learning French at the Institut Francais (the cd was within the mediatheque’s “French electro” section). I thought he was one of a kind in the French Touch panorama at first, then realised his “frenchiness” was a mere layer and he was so much more than just “Les Rythmes Digitales”.
After been literally absorbed by Madonna & co for over a decade he’s now Stuart is now back to using his French pseudo for some good techno hours.
Late last year he released “Reload”, Jacques was back to the dancefloor with his genuine house, and last month “Church” was added to his souncloud account….His agenda is now fully booked, and this Saturday he’ll be celebrating The Loft’s 10th anniversary in Barcelona, just before some Berlin, London and Manchester action later on this month.
So if you can… pay yourself a ticket to heaven while we wait his new album release in the coming weeks. More info on tour dates this way.
