2 more months to go before Julia Holter‘s Ekstasis is released via RVNG (March 8th to be more precise). The umpteenth minimalist chamber music promise who came into everyone’s radar after last year’s Tragedy LP (despite being around and part of the HEM group of dark artists) is now ready for a wider audience. She’s all grown up now.

Many more of the surreal sounds she’s been working on for the past 2 years with the exceptional mixing skills of Cole M. Greif-Neill will compose the upcoming 10-song album with new and old material. Marienbad is the first song of this anticipated album, and her LA friend Rick Bahto got the privilege to do a little video something for this amazing first track. Who else if not?
