This is a dedicated video for all those who truly believe in god … and fairies (because they’re just as important). Tim Minchin’s Storm poem has now an animated version by DC Turner, so you can now share this educational video amongst your children. As you may know David’s hit poem “Storm” was released last year (and initially selected for the BAFTAs), in the making for a couple of years and now finally uploaded to his youtube channel only last Thursday.

So what’s Storm about?

These 10min of critical thinking sets Tim in a late London dinner party, where he shall be endlessly arguing with a hippy named Storm. While Storm herself may not be converted, Tim has increasingly gained popularity across the UK and Australia thanks to his wordplay and the timely message of the piece in a society where science is attacked as the enemy of religion (eternal battle), alternative medicine given credence and public funding, and psychics have prime time TV exposure.

Tim already has some experience as animation narrator and one of his other animated collaborations that did actually win this year’s best animated short Bafta is The Lost Thing..

Enough about Tim (who is currently on tour across the UK). We should also give big credit to DC Turner who ‘s been (like many) working in the advertising world so far and whose works will certainly start grabbing huge attention in the coming years (we hope).
