There are so many music blogs, so many “specialized” indie music webs appearing each week that it’s impossible to keep track on which one is a teeny tiny bit more underground that the previous one, and here comes another one…

Let’s think of Rockdelux.es as the Spanish Pitchfork, indie but increasingly mainstream although with the advantage of having more than 2 decades of experience publishing one of the most respected music magazines in the market.

And after so much time deciding how to take the publication into the new century (yep, they’re a bit late into the digital game) they finally launched their web a few weeks ago. Same clean, cut, sharp style as Pitchfork but the content obviously orbits around the Spanish music scene while explaining the inernational rock & pop scene to the Iberians. So if you get to understand Spanish (if not just use google translate, there’s no excuse nowadays).

Oh look what we discovered  today… Looks like Caribou released a mix with 5 unreleased cuts signed as Daphni on the Resident Advisor web! And you can download it here (although you’ll have to register :S).

from the 1st number to the last publishing format

The good thing about RD is not their focus on the up & coming Spanish music scene with those Balearic & Vasc sounds that invade our jukeboxes lately. The great thing is that they’ll release little by little all their historical archive with all the interviews, reviews & bizarrities from the past few lustrums, starting with the 2005-2007 period. Here’s a candy… an interview with El Guincho (in Spanish sorry) from last year.
